Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at North Shore University Hospital & Long Island Jewish Medical Center (NS/LIJ)
The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Cardiology Fellowship combines innovative technologies, internationally recognized faculty, and diverse patient populations from two tertiary care centers to provide a world-class training program. Both North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center (3 miles apart) participate in the development of new technologies and advances in medical treatment for cardiovascular disease patients. We have 27 cardiology fellowship positions. We also offer advanced fellowship training in interventional cardiology, CHIP, EP, vascular cardiology and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology.
Located just a half hour outside of Manhattan, our suburban campuses offer a peaceful setting with opportunities to enjoy the Long Island shorelines, beaches and hiking trails. Our campus locations offer many safe and diverse neighborhoods to choose from for living arrangements. Many fellows choose to live within minutes of the hospital, while others live in Long Island City or New York City. Our prime location offers the best of both worlds.
Fellows’ wellness is of utmost importance to us. That’s why we offer wellness days, special events, guest speakers, meditation space and a comfortable fellows lounge. Learn more about resident and fellow life.
